My dear sweet momma has developed a brain tumor--specifically a glioblastoma multiforme. This is an update of all of the details of her treatments and her recovery. Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers and concern. My new favorite quote: "Humans are like tea bags, you have to put them in hot water before you know how strong they are."

Wednesday 12/14 Update

I talked to momma this morning and she sounded good. Dad has made arrangements to be with her at home for a while and she is glad for that. With Neall practicing in Wynne, he is able to be there a lot which has been great. He and Daddy are both so good with helping her in so many ways---we are so very lucky. Another good day to be thankful for.

    It's good that Richard can stay home for a while and how wonderful that Neall's career brought him back to Wynne. And, Tara, we all know how close you and your mom are. Thank goodness you are only as far away as Memphis. Some of the best med right now is the love and caring you all have always given her and each other.

    Thank you so much for keeping all of us posted on your Mom's condition. We are praying daily for her. You are so right.....you have a great mother---but your Mom has a great daughter, too. This website is great. As your old kindergarten teacher I knew you were special. Tell Teri I love her!

    Tara, thank you for doing this site. Your mother is loved by so many people and everyone wants to keep up with her condition but we don't want to bother by calling and the family repeating her condition to everyone. We are praying daily for Teri and all of you and believe me I know God answers prayers. We just went through an ordeal with my youngest son after surgery and God was with us every step of the way.

    Tell Teri that Kenny, Judy and Wil Moore are praying for her and we love her.

    So glad you are keeping us all informed. Though I have moved to Hot Springs, I still think of the people in Wynne as family, and I am praying for your mom. She's a real character! Tell her Sandy Reynolds said "I know you have the strength to come back from this. Keep up the hard work!" I hope for lots of strength for all of your family.

    Thanks for keeping us all informed about your mom. She is a very special lady and we had lots of fun as apartmentmates so very long ago.
